I purchased a Garmin GPSMAP 60CS and a Garmin bicycle mount, the mount is holding up well so far as is the battery connection for the type of ridding I am doing.
There are a couple mods for the GPS that will ensure more troublefree operation:
1. Use some dielectric grease on the connections.
2. Use some electrical tape to wrap the batteries for a tighter fit.
3. Add a small piece of foam under the battery connection tabs so they won't break.
